Thought for the week-

Hi there, I hope you are having a brilliant week. My thought for the week this week is – What do you really believe?!

Many of us confess stuff we say we believe, but when the rubber hits the road our actions and our speech often do not reflect what we have previously confessed to be our beliefs. This then obviously leads to us not receiving what we want.

There is a marked difference between intellectual acknowledgement and actual heart felt, unwavering belief. The first (IA) as I call it, tells you something is true, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that YOU believe it to be true. Heart felt belief (HFB) is your non negotiables, no matter what, you believe it and that settles it.

In life, we don’t what we want, we get what we expect. If you don’t believe that you are worth a partner who really cares about you and your needs as well as theirs, even though that is what you want, chances are, you’ll get what you expect or believe you are worth, rather than what you want.

Same goes for business, at the bargaining table. You may want that six figure sum to close the deal, but if you don’t believe you or your product is worth it, how will the other party respond? They will respond to your belief, your expectation, and because this is what you believe, you accept!!

So if you want to get what you want, replace what you believe about yourself and your worth. . You are valuable, you do have something to bring to the table, and you are special, priceless in fact. Believe it; let those thoughts travel from your head to your heart.

I hope this helped. Have a brilliant week.

Til next time – Have an impact, make a difference.

News

Welcome to the home site of Brett Murray 'The MoTv8R'. As usual Brett has had his hands in many pies working harder than ever inspiring and empowering people from the class room to the boardroom.

Over the last few months Brett has completed two tours to Melbourne speaking to students and businesses, he has been interviewed by Rise and Shine on the Nine Network and we have now received word that his interview will be shown again as a best of over the summer season, be on the lookout for that. Brett was also interviewed on FM Heart 103.2 in Sydney with Aaron and Dan on the morning show with a huge response back here in the Brett Murray offices.

Brett was again a Guest Keynote speaker at Rising Generations National Leadership Conference sharing the stage with Robyn Moore the voice of Blinky Bill. Brett was also a keynote speaker at the McCrindle research Generation ‘X’ and ‘Y’ marketing seminar with very positive feedback. Brett is now widely recognized as one of the countries leading experts on the cultural behavior of Gen ‘Y’. Many corporations are starting to hear about Brett’s expertise and are seeking him out to help with their Gen ‘Y’ staff issues and marketing strategies.

Brett has also been busy working on his pet project the FIRESTORM movies with FIRESTORM I Directors cut and FIRESTORM II in the making right now with Heritage HM agreeing to distribute the films. Heritage was responsible for bringing Amazing Grace the story of William Wilberforce out to Australia and the Narnia Chronicles as well. FIRESTORM is in good hands.

Brett has also lead his DARE:Ops team partnering with Fadi Rahman and the NSW PCYC to run the biggest of his bootcamp programs with 10 Boys from Macquarie Fields and 10 Muslim lads from Auburn. The camp was called ‘Mixing it up’ funded by the Federal Government and as usual with Brett, it was a massive success.

Never one to rest Brett was his usual ‘MoTv8R’ self as the keynote speaker at Australia’s premier event awarding young men for their selfless contribution to society called Illawarra’s Best Catch. Melissa Abu-Gazaleh is the driving force behind BEST CATCH and saw that Brett would be a perfect fit for the awards night, this turned out to be a stroke of genius as Brett wowed the large audience in attendance for the awards ceremony and the Chair was so impressed Brett was immediately invited back next year.

Brett will be again the closing speaker for the 4th year running this coming weekend at the Mitchell Youth Leadership Forum that promises to be yet another successful event.
